I absolutely love building PCs and low planning how to build them.
I was wondering whether anyone would be able to supply me with links (or information) on how to build my own laptop?
It'd be great to have a system similar to PC Part Picker (pcpartpicker.com) although laptops are, for obvious reasons, more complicated.
Would someone be able to supply me with this information?

Sorry mate laptops are ultra hard to build!

Companies use bulk bought MOBILE cpus and mobos and gpus.
Mobile parts are more compact and required work to get it refined into such a small space. Therefore companies increase the price for mobile counterparts of desktop parts. This and they bulk buy mean they can afford to have a $600 laptop which if built and bought yourself would cost nearly double!

Just buy or filter results on amazon and or try searching/finding companies which at least give you some customisation.

Sorry and cheers!

Try getting a bare bones notebook and then customize cpu, gpu, hdd, etc. RJtech is an option for this. Make sure it is MXM compatible for the gpu and CPU is socketed.
