Did I get a good deal on this gaming laptop?

Got it from Dell Outlet and it's a certified refurbished. It was $1,589, but $1,271.20 after 20% off and $1,363.35 after tax. I then used a $125 promo gift card I had from another Dell deal that I bought before to lower it to $1,238.35. The specs are...

Alienware 15
Windows 8
Intel Core 4th Generation i7-4710HQ
16 GB Dual Channel DDR3L 1600MHz (8GBx2) Memory
128 GB Solid State Drive
1 TB 2.5 Inch SATA Hard Drive (5400 RPM)
NVidia GeForce GTX 970M
15.6 inch FHD (1920 x 1080) IPS-Panel Anti-Glare 300-nits Display
8 Cell 92W Hour Battery

It's the cheapest I've been able to find so far with any other laptop with similar specs being at least $300-500 more. I'm not sure why the HDD is 5400 RPM since 7200 RPM seems to be standard with new ones.

Thanks!

Yeah, a pretty good deal. As for the slow HDD you have, you can always get an SSD later (say, Samsung 850 EVO, 250GB) for a system drive, and continue using the current HDD drive for data storage / media only.

Are you satisfied?
If yes, you probably did.

16GB of RAM; an i7, a very nice GPU, nice screen, I'd say yes. 5400 RPM disks use less power. Very common in laptops.

I'd say a pretty good deal, all in all :)

It already has an SSD ;) The second drive is probably for date etc :)
