Hello,

l have a couple of problems with my brand new MSI laptop.

First off, every time l start a game, there's a pop sound coming from the speakers, as if l had some really bad speakers. It's very short, doesn't last and doesn't happen again until l start that game again (or any game).

Secondly (probably related to the 1st), whenever l have Youtube songs playing in the background and l start, for example, World of Warcraft, the popping keeps happening randomly during the song. Important to note is that it doesn't happen unless l have the game open. Game sounds are off but for some reason it keeps creating a conflict of some sort.

Bought this laptop alongside an identical one, for my husband, and it doesn't have the same problems. Anything l can do, any ideas would be great...

thanks a lot in advance for any replies:)

Hi,

You might need to reinstall the latest driver that can be found in the manufacturers support site. Go to Device Manager and uninstall the Sound driver from there. Download and install the driver that can be found in the manufacturers support site. Once installed be sure to reboot your laptop for all the changes to take effect.

Hope this helps.
