Black screen help needed

I turned my loptop on and all there is is a black screen. It's on and working. I can press FN and F2 and change the brightness but theres nothing past the black screen. What do i do?

Hi,

Do a hard reset first, remove the battery and AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds. Put everything back together and see if it goes pass the back screen. If doesn't try plugging in an external monitor and see if you'll see any display because if you settings might just need to be changed. Press the Windows key + P then select Display only so it would only show the display on the laptop screen.
