Hi,

Every time i restart my computer a ghost program named wintyp.exe launches and its using 100% of my cpu load, i have tried to find it in sysWOW64 folder but its not there. The only thing i can find about this program is its reg key placement.

here is a picture of the program and its properties: https://gyazo.com/e40747760fa1b7109c7e4dd007ddaba2

Any ideas about what it is or on how i can remove it? Do i really need to reinstall my os?

It looks like "winytp" not "wintyp". Still not a known virus that I can find. Backup registry and delete that key. But first, go to command prompt in safe mode, and do a drive search:

Go to C:\

"dir winytp.exe /s"

Then you can hopefully find and delete the program.

You can also run "msconfig" and perhaps find the program start command there.
