Hey Toms!
My Current speakers are on their way out and I am looking for a new set.

My main uses will be Gaming, Music and the odd film and TV show. I'm not interested in spending loads on a Surround Sound system as I am really not that much of an audio quality nut and I use headphones most of the time

I don't really want to spend more than £50 and I am currently looking at these two speakers:
Logitech Z323: http://www.logitech.com/en-gb/product/speaker-system-z323?crid=1589
Logitech Z333: http://www.logitech.com/en-gb/product/multimedia-speakers-z333?crid=1589

Both currently go for £49.99 on Logitech's website with the Z323's going for £41.23 on Amazon.
As I said, I'm not a massive Audio nut so I don't really know much in this sense but, to me, the Z333's LOOK like a better bit of kit and have a higher wattage. Obviously looks aren't exactly evidence of good sound quality though.

I was hoping someone would be able to advise which of these would be better for my needs or if you could recommend any others within my budget if these aren't the best. I am willing to stretch if a few extra pounds will provide a significant benefit.

Thanks,
Conor <3

the z333 looks like a strictly uk release

the z333 looks to be slightly more powerful (40w vs 30w) total rms and have a fancy little volume control knob instead of it being on the front of the speaker. given the price similarity and knowing how other logitech models generally compare i would say they should be similar in terms of actual audio quality.

unless you think you will be needing the extra power or like the fancy volume dongle the z323 would be fine. ultimately your choice though.

Thanks for your inputy ssdx!
Managed to find some reviews of the Z333 in the end and they were much more favourable than those of the Z323.

Found the Z333 going for £44.99 at PCWorld so went with those :)

i havent heard the z333 in person (since it is a uk only release) though i have heard the z523, 323, 313 and other sets. for the price logitech normally is pretty fair in terms of what you get for the money. you wont find much better for that price (especially in uk with its high prices) other than getting some bookshelf speakers with a small amp (which may not be feasible in uk due to pricing).

you should be fine with the z333.
