Currently I'm looking for a headset with good sound quality for gaming and music, I wouldn't mind it being a good looking headset either, and for those reasons I'm currently comparing the Razer Tiamat 7.1 Gaming Headset and The Astro A40. I would appreciate someone else's opinion, although I don't want to be getting a pair of headphones to clip a mic to and then having an extra wire dangling about the place, I would also like something sturdy that won't wear and tear easily, I know you can get a mic that replaces the wire for headphones but then the headphones would need to have the things I'm looking for as well as a detachable cable which audio technica fails to provide. The audio quality doesn't have to be completely clear and concise, it just can't be bad quality, and maybe at least above average?

Go for the Astro A40, it is a great headset and i am really positive about it. I got it for about two weeks now. I wouldn't even consider a Razer headset, these things are just overpriced garbage. They will break very fast and the quality isn't fantastic either. (I have had three Razer headsets within a month they were either already broken, or didn't function correctly).
