Hi all, im a bit stumped here on this laptop. The laptop has been unplugged from all power sources for several hours, it should be completely dead by now.. The fans are still running though.... but the laptop will not show anything on the screen. I took it apart, popped the HDD out as well as the battery. Only when i pulled the battery out the laptop completely shut off. I put it back together, boot it up, everything seems to boot up but there is still nothing on the screen. I cannot force shutoff by holding the button, seems like that only pulling the battery shuts it off. Otherwise the fans just keep going at full speed. In my head it points to the battery being the problem, but that shouldn't be the problem as to why nothing appears on the screen... I do not have another monitor to test it on either... Any other suggestions i can try?
