Hey,
I need help to solve problem with this laptop, screen suddenly one day was black when i booted it.
It gives 2 pretty fast error beeps, and briefly flashes dell logo but then goes full black. Tried so far:

- Brightness up from keys
- Battery off without ac power and press poweron button for few mins
- Connected external VGA monitor and it worked instantly, still black screen on laptop,
optical drive working aswell, i got to bios with external monitor and did diagnostics and it passes everything
- When i used flashlight to check if lightbulb is gone, i actually saw very unclear slight picture on monitor.
- then thought lcd is obviously gone and replaced it but same thing happens with replacement LCD screen, although i didnt use exact model, same resolution and old cable. first lcd had 2 connections to inverter and new screen had only one so i put it to 2nd spot.
Only brief flash for dell logo and it goes black again, checked inverter and it looked fine, cable also wasnt broken but didnt inspect very closely.

Anyone could help what to try next?

Tried it now, swapped both sticks one by one on each slot. Still getting 2 beeps when dell logo ends (external monitor). I get text that no bootable device found cause of no hdd ofc, could that cause those 2 beeps? Tried memtest also with 1 stick and it passed once without error.
With external monitor i got no screen tearing or dead pixels, so it cant be gpu related?

Found this thread now : http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/laptop/f/3519/t/19487311?pi239031352=1
If its same thing these guys swapped even multiple motherboards and issues continued lol, i hope its not this.

Will test now with full battery and no AC power if it would pass dell logo.. will test inverter also if its still working.
Its also odd that i can see always very clear dell logo at start for 2 seconds, like lcd is fully stable. Aftr that i need flashlight to see VERY dim picture barely.

Yes picture is exellent on external monitor, all colors fine and it works great. I got to bios and chanced lcd brightness settings on video settings like in this thread someone did, went from 100% on ac to 50% and on battery at 40%. Tested with internal lcd and it somehow booted to bios, colors looks flawless, also run dell diagnostics and it recodnizes lcd cable and inverter both working. So both inverter and lcd looks to be working.
Dont know how long this is gonna last or it could be fixed permanently.
Since everything is working on 50% brightness what could be causing the problem on higher brightness settings? I checked AC voltage and it matched what it should be, battery voltages aswell. When i use old brightness settings with AC power it instantly closes like it has overvoltage or someting, but on battery ( default 50% ) it works good until i connect ac power.
