Hello guys,

My Laptop is Sony vaio SVE14A15FNH.It came with Preinstalled WIndows 7 home premium.
I got the windows 10 and wanted to install.
Will my laptop able to support it.? Will there be any driver issues? In Sony website there is no updated drivers. But AMD has windows 10 drivers.

It has Intel 3000/AMD Radeon 7670m switchable graphics.

And it has so many sony Softwares which tend to slow my pc.I dont know whats the use of those.
If i can install windows 10,will i be needed those Sony softwares ?

Kindly help me with this.

if something is not compatible it will ask for it to be deleted but you can say no. so far i have not seen any programs that won't run. i did have a driver for media card reader not compatible, but it installed a new one during upgrade.

everything stayed the same on the pc. programs, settings, my favs in the browser etc..... it is a very good installation and onlt changes core windows files and leave the rest alone. to be safe back up your data if is on the same drive. better safe than sorry. i always keep my data on separate partition/drive so i was not worried but i know most keep it on the same drive so just to be safe back up any data like pics, music and such you don't want to lose just in case something goes wrong. nothing is...

i put it on an old acer netbook with VERY miserable specs (1.6 atom cpu, 2 gb ram) and it runs a bit better than the win 7 starter edition it had on it. no driver problems or anything like that. they got this one figured out for the most part. you'll be surprised how well it is working.

remember you have to do the upgrade first to get your key before you can do any fresh installs. so do the upgrade first.

I need drivers compatability with windows 10. Does windows 10 automatically downloads all drivers like audio and video?

when doing the upgrade the installer will go to the web to grab what it needs. no worries there. even the preview builds were able to get EVERY driver for me with no help from me. i did not have to install any drivers myself. the only thing i did was manually install the new win 10 gpu drivers as windows was not on that one yet since it was only released yesterday as well.

it even noticed and installed the software for a network printer that connects wirelessly!! that's pretty impressive.
