Well i have had this headset (non usb version) for some time and now all of a sudden it is only letting me plug the headphone part in and when i plug the mic part in windows keeps asking if i plugged it in over and over and over. I tried contacting steelseries about it but they refused my request so if you have any solutions let me know. Thanks

Can you provide us with more information and do a bit of testing for us?
More information: What OS are you running? What make and model of PC?
Do you have access to another machine? Can you try the mic there? This should help us separate a failed mic issue from one where your system isn't recognizing the mic.
