My sister wants to buy a laptop for extensive graphic use, as well as all the usual stuff. She has her heart set on one of the macbook laptops, and her budget is £1000. What would be the best one for her to get in this price range? Thanks in advance

MacBooks come with a 1.1 to 1.3 GHz Core M processor and Intel HD Graphics 5300 GPU.

This is fine for everyday tasks, but isn't really up to professional graphics design work, or heavy duty gaming. I would not encourage using a macbook for graphic design. I'd suggest instead a windows 7/8/10 Gaming laptop with an i7Q CPU (Q stands for quad- 4 real cores) and some level of decent mobile graphics (say a 960M or mobile R9-something)

Sorry realise that sounds a bit like playing games, she wants to work as a graphic designer, so a lot of picture editing and that sort of thing, probably on photoshop
