How Good of Laptop to Run Desktop Over Home Network?

Hello everyone,

I wanted to know how good of laptop I need to run my desktop over my home network. I primarily will use the laptop at home and would like to just to run my desktop on it remotely over the home network.

Any system can do that, you can use a remote connection to a system using a tablet. Question is why? For games? Remote connections to a system for games is pretty bad, quite a bit of lag in the video. If you just want to connect to it for files, then you can use anything. For games, you will have issues, it's not so much the speed of the system running it but the remote connection over the network that will cause issues.
