I recently got an Acer Extensa EX2510-56ZP laptop and I wanted to upgrade the memory and swap out the hard drive with a SSD. The issue I'm having is that the laptop doesn't have any visible maintenance hatch on the bottom. There are screws however across the entire width and length of the bottom of the laptop.

I removed these screws but the base plate remains firmly in place. I'm really stumped with this one and I don't want to force the base plate off without knowing if there is a hidden screw or some clips that I should be aware of first.

I've searched on Google to find a guide to dismantling this laptop but I am yet to find anyone or any guide that has given me direction. I'm not sure if its because the laptop model is fairly new or its just not possible to open. Which led me here to Tom's Hardware...

How do I dismantle the Acer Extensa EX2510-56ZP laptop so I can replace the memory and hard drive?
