hi, i have bought recently the razer kraken pro and after installing the razer surround and calibrating it every time i see a video on youtube or play a game my friends on skype can hear the audio. Even the audio is strange and when i plug the headphones on the phone i notice a LOT of diference on the audio.
I went to the sound by the control panel and in the playback there i noticed that i have 2 speakers using at the same time like how it shows in the screenshot that i took (sorry its in portuguese).

If you connect the headset to your PC by way of 3.5mm jack, you only need the realtek high definition audio controller enabled as your playback device. This will also be listed as your recording device for the mic.

So i did this controlpanel> system> device manager > realtek igh defenition audio > update
i selected to search for updates by internet and windows sayed that it was already up to date.
I kinda made the sound a bit more normal by putting the realtek high defenition audio as the default one. but the microphone still echos the sound
the record tad is like this (sorry its in portuguese if there is something you dont understand tell me please)

First, I will recommend you get the most up to date driver for sound from your motherboard manufacturer's web site (if you know who the motherboard manufacturer is). The Windows update driver is often not the most up to date.

With regard to the echo, you're getting some kind of feedback loop. Meaning your sound output is feeding into the input which is going to your output feeding into your input, etc...

It looks like your default recording device (also under sound settings but the second tab labeled 'recording') is the Microphone - realtek audio. It may be possible that your microphone sensitivity is set too high?

If you're using Windows 7, type 'microphone' into the run box and follow the prompts making sure your microphone sensitivity is not set too high.

If that doesn't work, I'd uninstall any Razer headset software and see if that works for you. The realtek audio controller is the only hardware controller's software you need installed to run a headset connected by 3.5mm connections. On the other hand, if your headset connects by USB (though I don't think there's a version of the razer kraken pro that connects this way), there would be a sound controller present on the headset itself and would require software/drivers from razer to run it.

well i did some research and i found what i think it is my motherboards support site link: https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/H81GAMER/HelpDesk_Download/
is it here that i should downlaod the drivers just to confirm (sorry i really dont know how to do this) ??

i went to my microphone in recording and i under the levels tab i lowered the intensity and the mic volume and everything stayed the same (despite the volume of the microphone)

About the razer software i wont even unistall it, if I just disable the razer surround controller the headset starts making "cliky" static noises when it plays audio, however the static noise doesnt appear if i just let it enabled and dont use the controller.

This is a very weird situation to me because it only started when i used pluged this headset. About a week ago i had the Ozone rage st headset (you probably never heard of it but you can just google it) and it gave me just normal and regular sound and i never had this mic and sound issues, however the microphne stopped working because the wire got damaged so i bought some crappy USB headset which came broken from store so i went back to the store and I exchanged for the razer kraken that i use right now.

At this moment the only thing that i can think about if i dont resolve this is to go back to the store and exchange for a brand new Ozone rage st headset.
