At 720p video quality, how many gigabytes is in two and a half hours? Will it fit on a 8.56 gigabyte disc?

depends on bitrate (quality) of the video. check the bitrate you're saving at.

basically figure out the bitrate you are saving at and multiply that by the duration in seconds (2.5*60*60=9000 sec).

you would be able to fit video that has a bitrate of 7600 kbps. that is including audio and video bitrate. It would fill nearly the entire disc. of course the bitrate may be lower
