Please help me. DVD-RW drive disappeared from system + BIOS

Hello brothers today when I opened my laptop and opened my computer I saw that the dvd rw drive f is missing from my computer and when I restarted my laptop and opened BIOS there it shows that the dvd rw writer or ryder is not installed.

Mine is although new only 5 days ago i got changed my dvd writer or ryder please help me i am getting panic.

Please help me my system specs are amd e1-1200 with radeon tm hd graphics 1.40ghz
windows 7
64 bit

I assume that the DVD Writer connection to the laptopis firm (however you can still disconnect and reconnect it for reassurance).

If the connection is not an issue, you should immediately replace the DVD Writer as it is new and is still under warranty.

Laptops don't typically have cables for the ODD; the plug on the motherboard attaches directly to the drive.

Can you try removing and re-inserting the ODD? It's possible it's not plugged in fully.
