Hello, I'm trying to make my XBOX 360 sound come out through the Samsung Home Theater but so far can only make the sound come out through the TV. Here's my equipment:
- XBOX 360 slim 4GB - (1 HDMI out, 1 TOSLINK optical out)
- Samsung Smart TV - Model: UN50J6200AFXZA - (2 HDMI in, 1 TOSLINK optical out)
- Samsung Blu-Ray Home Theater in a Box - Model: HT-J4500/ZA - (1 HDMI out, 1 TOSLINK optical in)
i've tried:
- xbox hdmi -> tv hdmi ->blu-ray HTiB, xbox optical -> blu-ray HTiB
- xbox hdmi -> tv hdmi ->blu-ray HTiB, tv optical -> blu-ray HTiB
with no luck. also made sure that on the xbox i had it set to dolby 5.1. to be honest, i'm not sure about all the settings on the blu-ray or the tv, so that might have something to do with it. if anyone can help i'd really appreciate it!
