My laptop is doing strange things and I do not know how to fix it

Everytime when I click a key and number its changes into something different. For example, when I click m it turns into a 0 does anyone know how to fix it

Laptops without a seperate number pad use shared keys. M is also a 0 (zero) so if NumLock is turned on, that key will always type a zero. Turn off the NumLock key and you'll get an M, U instead of four, O instead of 6 and so on.
