I'm really confused about which laptop to get. I have finalised it down to possible options. Either: MSI GS60 2PC Ghost or Lenovo Y50. The MSI has 128gb SSD but less RAM and an older GPU with less vRAM. But it is lighter and has a better resolution. I t also has a full RGB backlit fully programmable keyboard. Does an SSD really affect performance a lot or would a newer GPU would be preferred. I have also heard that the 860M has some heat problems in the MSI GS60 and should I be concerned? Which would you choose?

Solution
I would go with the lenovo as the 3k display is too much for the gtx 860m. Also the ssd won't make that much of a difference when gaming. Only the loading times will be affected of the games and os.
