I want both my headset and my speakers to be connected so I can just press a button to change which output I want. Like a 1 input 2 output hdmi splitter you can change output by pressing a button. So I could use an xbox and a playstation, but in this situation, use a headset and speakers. So say I want music I'd play it through the speakers not the headset but when gaming through the headset not speakers
