Need some suggestions on a good AV for this gaming build - http://pcpartpicker.com/p/cQLFxr

Need it to be light on resources and effective at keeping my computer safe. Before hand, I used Kaspersky. While it was a good AV for my current computer, I need something just as good as well as less resource intense as Kaspersky is.

Any suggestion is appreciated.

In the past I always used AVG Free, but they've gotten to bloated these days. Not to mention they SPAM your screen with messages way to frequently.

My suggestion now would be Avast Free.

Careful they include Chrome with the install, so uncheck that box during the install. Also I would choose the custom route, and don't install any of the tools, just the basic virus scan part, to help keep it light.

i would suggest webroot secureanywhere .....it uses the least memory among all the other antiviruses and works as a ninja.....silent, no bog downs and virus and malware assassin personified.....
