i am looking for headphones with decent sound quality and look very nice. my absolute max i wish to pay $150 aud and i wil be using them for gaming, listening to music, and videos. they must have a braided cable and a mic would be nice. i have my eyes set on the sennheiser momentum headphones as they look very nice and have detatchable cable, as well as the mic and music playing buttons. if there is anything nicer or better than the momentum headphones then suggestions are very welcome.
thanks in advance :)

For sound quality the Sennheiser will be better than any of the Razer headsets, probably better than any gaming headset in that price range. You have probably picked your best choice already, I personally like Bose but suspect they will go over your budget ( I'm uk based). Gaming headsets are very much style and gimmicks first with sound quality trailing, they also tend to be very unbalanced with heavy bass and poor higher range.

Have you considred wireless headphones? The logitech g930 is a pretty flexible set. With the gaming software installed you'll have access to a pretty decent EQ. The side buttons can be programed to do what ever you want. By default they can control windows media player. The mic is not detachable but is pretty discrete when folded up.

Otherwise I would suggest the Razer Tiamat 2.2 Again the mic is not removable, but in this case it tucks into the body so it's practically invisible when not in use. It also doesn't have the playback control buttons. Razer headphones do tend to favor bass and this one actually has discrete sub woofer in each cup.
