Why can't I play games on my laptop after a factory reset?

Hello all,

First off, I have had a virus on my laptop so I wiped all my files onto an external hard drive and then did a factory reset. I put the 32 bit Windows 7 disk on my laptop because the 64 bit disk didn't work for some reason. After I installed it, everything was fine except that I couldn't play any games on it (Minecraft, Ark, etc...). It was working well before I put the 32 bit disk in, but now I can't play after the reset. Does anyone know if the 32 bit is the issue? Or if it's the drivers?

Thanks in advance.
