So I recently purchased the harman kardon hkts 16bq home theater system and It didn't come ith a receiver. I know absolutely nothing about home audio equipment. So I need a receiver that at least has hdmi, is preferrably black, and will work with the 600W harman kardon hkts 16 bq system. Please help! I had been looking at the yamaha V377 but it's a little bit out of my pricepoint. I really don't want to spend more than $60. I don't care if it's used, new, recertified, or whatever. As long as it comes with a remote and will support the harman kardon system I'm fine with it.

At $60 your only option is used. Check out local garage sales, thrift shops, Craigslist, and ebay. Don't worry about the amount of power as the satellites will work with as little as 10 watts per channel.
agreed. you will not find a receiver new for $60 anywhere.

used is your only option. aa mentioned good places but auctions are another.

in hindsight you might have been better off going with the $180 monoprice 10565 (which is similar to energies 5.1 set) which would have given you enough budget (barely) for a cheapo brand receiver (or half decent used receiver with fair options).
