Can you replace a HP laptop screen with another screen if it is broken? I need to retrieve photos stored in my laptop.

My laptop screen is broken and I need to somehow get into it to get my photos that are stored in my HP Laptop. Is there a way to get photos or can I get a replacement screen?

you can replace the screen, or if you have a tv with a VGA or HDMI and one of those ports on your laptop you can just plug a cable in and use your tv as a screen as a temp fix

Or you could take the HDD drive out of the laptop and plug it into another PC and get the pictures off that way (as long as you don't have any tricky HDD encryption active).
