sony difference in units

I have a str-dn1050 receiver I would like to know the difference between it and the str-za3000es, so I can hook up the best to my new sony 3d 4k 56 inch tv, Im installing tomorrow
I was told by sony that the 3000 unit was better suited for the new 4k over using the 1050
I own both, but will take one back, Sony explained that the 1050 did not interact with the 3d 4k tv like the 3000 does

Since you have a 4k TV the 3000es model is preferred because it supports HDCP 2.2 which is the latest copy guard standard for 4K and the other does not. It also supports the wider color range that 4K can display.
These features may not matter today but will as 4k blueray and set top boxes come out in the next year or so.
