I have been looking for a laptop for more extensive gaming. I have really only owned low end intel laptops without any sort of discrete graphics cards. I have only been using my desktop and am very familiar with pairings for cpu and gpu on the desktop side.
I am however not really sure in the laptop side I have been looking into tons of pairings from several manafactures. Here are the few that's standing out to me the most.
There is an acer with the a-10 7300. And 12gb ram. No SSD. The A-10 appears to meet a lot of the minimums for gaming than some other gpu I have looked at but the cpu benchmarka itself seem kind of low compared to other choices.
The other is a lenovo with a i7-4510 and 820m graphics pairing this one has a hybrid setup with small cache SSD. 8gb ram
The other is a toshiba satellite with an i7-4510. With a radeon graphics. I am still trying to find from the seller which one because I am unsure the exact chip. But this one has 1tb no ssd and 12b ram. This I7 appears to be code but I hear isn't as good at power intensive task as I may do some minor video editting.
There are other pairings I have seen too but there's so much out there I don't need 1080p at full ultra with 60 fps for my laptop just something that can put up its own at 720p with decent to mid settings.
Please help.
