Best open air headphones $50 and under

Hey guys I'm looking for a headset for online gaming, but I really wanna stay away from gimmicky gaming sets. I prefer to buy the mic and headset separately and I need the head set to be over ear and open. Any ideas? Thanks.

a bit more than your price range but the hd518 is $70 and well worthwhile. finding any open cans in the $50 range is hard - regardless of "good" ones. i'd up your budget just a tad to the $70-75 range. the hd518 is fairly neutral with a bit more bass than completely neutral. they use the same drivers as the more expensive hd558 and hd598 (which move more and more towards absolutely neutral).

an alternate to the hd518 would be the ad500x which have a wider soundstage however do not have much bass.

Thanks guys. I considered the Superlux Hd668 set after watching Tek Syndicate's review of them, but I settled on the Sennheiser HD 429 model. I'm not much of an audiophile, but I wanted to stay away from overrated gamer headsets. Thanks again. MrEleven1181 chosen as best answer.
