MSI GE60 2PC Apache RAM Upgrade?

Hello, I have the MSI GE60 2PC Apache, and it has 8GB RAM, Intel Core i-7, NVIDIA GTX 850M 2GB, can I upgrade the RAM to 16GB? Becuase I am downloading a lot of applications, and I need the extra RAM, could someone tell me if this is possible or if the motherboard can only support 8GB, if it can support 12GB than I will definetly get 12GB, but please someone tell me if the RAM upgrade is possible...

I dont think this extra ram is needed. This laptop was build the way it is and will be fine, unless this machine is not going to preform simple tasks, i dont think it needs more ram.

I have a GE 60 Apache pro that I upgraded from 8 to 16 GB yesterday, and it works fine. I would think that the two laptops would have comparable internals, though my suggestion is open it up and see if you have a extra ram slot.

According to Crucial, your laptop will accept 16GB of RAM.

8GB in each slot.
