Dell studio 1558....i5.....wen i turned on lapy....the screen is black.....i can see keypad lights.....no display no sound.....power is on....wen i turned on lapy preesing D .....its making continous beeps......its almost 5 yrs am using dis lappy till now no problem...from today facing the prob......plz...suggest solution

My name is Shrikanth and I work for the Social Media and Community Team at Dell. Disconnect all peripherals, remove the battery hold on to the power button for 10-15 seconds put back the battery try turning it on. Check if you are still getting the beeps. Go to this link http
/dell.to/1HJXtgd depending on the number of beeps you are getting you can check the beep codes diagnostic chart and see which components have gone bad and replace the same accordingly.
