You'll need to provide vastly more information then you have. Given that this is an OEM PC it is highly likely that you can't (or shouldn't) overclock it. Knowing the name of the BIOS vendor doesn't really add anything. Every motherboard has different features.

What exact processor?
What motherboard?
Power supply?
CPU Cooling?
Memory?

ok so now i know that my motherboard can handle overclocking but my motherboard is not of gigabyte which give option in bios to overclock..... The thing is when i go in my bios it doesn't contain any such option like (advance, cpu configuration) so that i can't overclock?? Plz tell me a way out....

A few, but mostly for more recent technology, and generally these come from motherboard manufacturers targeted to specific platforms.

You might want to read page 40 of the manual and start from there.

ok so i have seen some videos and threads which tells about a software known as clockgen.... Will it help to overclock my pc? If yes, then how to get it working?

Clockgen is a very old program. I don't think it will work with contemporary OS.

Software overclocking is rarely a good idea as you can get unexpected results. Also makes it far too easy to cause damage since you are bypassing the BIOS.

If you are going to get into overclocking you will want to put at least a little effort into learning what it is you are actually doing. Knowing the terms and the consequences for changes require reading and understanding.

Page 40 of your manual literally has a line item: CPU Overclocking Func. Enable/Disable

If you aren't comfortable navigating and using the BIOS then I don't think overclocking is for you. Start looking at buying newer components if you want more performance.

i have done everything in the bios so that i can overclock but there is no such option like cpu overclocking function enable/disable..... My bios seems like this: advance cmos features, power management, integrated pheriperal, advance cmos feature,etc but none of these contain option for overclocking....

Then the OEM bios may be modified from what the board manufacturer's retail version. That is about all I can think of.

If it lets you put that BIOS on there perhaps, but it could just as easily make your computer non-functional.

That is a possibility. Without more direct interaction I don't think this can go any further. You say you can't see certain things, but you aren't saying what it is you are seeing.

At this point I suggest researching the topic yourself.
