Hi I am use to using the right click text to speech option in Apple OS for reading web pages and other stuff of that nature and I am trying to find a way to do it in windows with the same ease.

Is there a way to be able to highlight text in articals and just listen to them instead of having to read them.

Windows has the narrator option but-

I cant get it to stop narrating every little thing I do such as clicking the start menu and telling me. I want to just use it for reading when I want and for it to be inactive when I'm not.

The idea of extra software that will perform this function is OK with me if anyone has come across something to do the same job.

Thank you for your help before hand.

Well you can try this software which is specifically meant for Windows 7 "text to Speech". You can download this tool from here -
