Hello everybody,
So i have this issue on my laptop that I have for about a year now. It is keeps shutting down after a few minutes of gaming and sometimes even surfing. No warning screen, just a total shutdown of the system. Afterwards, I often cannot restart it right after the shutdown, but you can hear that it "tries" to start up (just a soft sound, not longer than half a second). After having waited a few seconds it sometimes says that the battery charging has been temporarily disabled, this, however, does not always show.
What I have done already:
- Check the temperatures: while gaming, it doesnt go over 65-70 degrees celsius. The fans are cleaned, the thermal paste is fine.
- Anti-virusscan: no problems dicovered.
- BIOS and drivers are up-to-date, and a pre-boot scan showed the system (CPU, GPU,...) was fine.
- I dont know if its the power supply (GA240PE1-00), but the pre-boot scan said it worked. I might add that error Kernel-Power (41) gets listed in the log after a shutdown
*Maybe the mobo can't supply enough power to the GPU?
I really dont know what to de else to solve this problem, and other forums dont offer an answer...
