Hi, I never had a camcorder before , just a canon basic model digital camera , and I have been looking to make some youtube videos , I tried it with my old digital camera , but turns out it has a very cheap microphone , I get a huge noise in the udio , now I am not looking for something to shoot the next star wars , I just need something to record @ 1080p , 60fps doesn't really matter , I have given a look at Sony HDR-AS100VR , but it's more of an action camera , can you recommend some camcorders under $200 with reasonable audio and video quality?

Thanks.

Solution
The Canon listed below is a used camcorder from B&H Photo, it comes with microphone and headphone jacks. I can't attest to video or audio quality but you can read the reviews on the B&H site.
Video Format High Definition
MPEG AVC/H.264
1920 x 1080 / 24 fps / 60 fps / 30 fps

Hey there , i,ve been film and audio editing for a number of years to a self confessing but amateur degree.Ive studied a little at college also.I would suggest if your concentration is on the audio particulars of a cam corder , to buy the cam corder second hand or cheaply from e-bay , i,ve seen new digital camcorders for 60 pounds or less.
On the upstroke , buying and audio device like the zoom hand-held range , to synch with your film is a great idea providing you have some software and basic editing knowledge.
