Need help choosing an amp for my speakers!

Well a few weeks ago I got really into audio and more specifically home theatre audio and I saw a pair of some really nice speakers on amazon :

I do have an old amp laying around, and the ratings on it is 100w x2 at 2ohms , 50w x2 at 4ohms and nothing about 8 ohm speakers (but the amp can handle 2-8 ohm speakers) . The speakers on amazon are 8 ohms at 50w rms.

My question is, assuming that it is 50w rms as a pair and 25 watts rms independently, doesn't that mean I can follow the sequence , 100w x2 at 2ohms , 50w x2 at 4ohms and 25w x2 at 8ohms? Or does it not work like that? If so, can anyone recommend me a relatively cheap, compatible amp?

You are following the sequence correctly. 25 x 2 rms into 8 ohms.
Speaker power ratings are per speaker not the pair. Your amp should be fine.
It's a small 3" speakers so it won't play very loud or have any bass no matter how much power you have. Just don't stress them too much as they could be blown without much effort. The power ratings are pretty unreliable for speakers of this type.
If you can get better speakers for the front I would recommend you do.

Thanks a lot man, unfortunately I can't really afford to get anything more because I blew my budget on building a sub box etc. I wont need much more than this, for the time being its only going to be computer speakers, and later on I will change them as the home theatre system evolves, and due to your recommendation. I appreciate the answer.

Did you already get those speakers, pyle is a real pile of junk company (just change out the Y and call it pile as in pile of sh**). I would not push more then 25w through these.

Yamaha is good brand for home theater equipment without paying premium money.
Pioneer is a little lower but has good quality control
Onkyo used to be pretty decent but unfortunately even after a few years has yet to get their digital input board issues worked out
