I recently bought a 5 in 1 out hdmi switch that works great. The only problem is that I want to run my ps3, ps4, Xbox 360, and PC on my 27in monitor. My monitors sound is coming from my Basspulse 2.1 speakers and only works for my PC. My big question is, does anyone know an affordable way to allow my speakers to run on the three consoles I'm switching between?
Solution
You would need a HDMI Selector with a Audio Extractor something like this one, the Switch needs to split the Audio then you would just convert from RCA to Analog 1/4. The speakers would be plugged into the Splitter instead of the PC.

Your monitor is dvi so doesn't carry audio??
I'm assuming you use a HDMI to dvi cable from the switcher then ???
This isn't particularly cheap but should do the job (it would go in between the 5/1 switcher & the monitor cable)

Correct, it came with the dvi to hdmi cable, the hdmi is then plugged into my PC's graphics card. So to make sure I understand you, monitor plugs into analog converter and so does the speakers, then my 5-1 switcher plugs into the other side, which should then give sound from my speakers to all other hdmi plugged in devices?
Could something like this work, I wouldn't have anywhere to plug the first audio jack into my monitor, but I could plug the second one coming off from the hdmi end into my sub woofer. Would that work?

^ no that doesn't do any digital to analog conversion mate - all that cable is for is to connect a single HDMI device to a DVI monitor with speakers - its useless to you.

That would work but the sound wont be quite as good and it is $21. If you could return the Selector Switch and grab a HDMI Matrix Switch like I suggested before you will be getting a better Audio/Video Signal and simplifying the cables, this is a bit cheaper than the other one.
