1. What is your budget?
A:
Between USD1000 and USD1600.

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
A:
15.6’’. It must be a light laptop. Preferable an Ultrabook.

3. What screen resolution do you want?
A:
1920x1080.

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
A:
Both? I won’t have a desktop and I’ll need to carry it around.

5. How much battery life do you need?
A:
Not sure, but I’ll use it for college.

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
A:
Definitely. The main reason that I’m replacing my current laptop is that although it does run games, it rarely does it on high settings.
The most demanding games that want to be able to play (and can remember right now) are Shadows of Mordor, Assassins Creed Unity, Dragon Age Inquisition and The Witcher 3.

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
A:
CAD applications.

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
A:
I would like it to have a 1TB HDD and at least a 128GB SSD.

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.
A:

Don’t have any sites in mind.

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?
A:
At least 4 years.

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
A:
None.

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.
A:
I like ASUS and MSI, don’t like HP very much (had one with overheating problems).

13. What country do you live in?
A:
I’ll be living in US.

14. Please tell us any additional information if needed.
A:
I really want a laptop with a GTX 970M, but I will settle with a lower one if I have to.

Is it that bad? I've heard that the GS60 with the GTX860M had this issue, but I didn't find any complaint regarding heating problems with the 970M version (just about the noise and battery life).
