HI all, need your help really quick. I've attached 3 laptops and am in the market for a laptop for my small business. I'm leaning towards the lower end asus, but the core m processor has me hesitant so I've attached the model with the i5. Is it worth the difference? attached a surface too in my price range that is part of the debate. Or would you recommend something different altogether? Thanks

Solution
The Core M in the Asus UX305FA is not a bad CPU, but it depends what you are going to use it for. Programs like Excel or Quickbooks will be fine since they generally do not use much processing power. Unless you are using Excel to do financial model... then a quad core i7 CPU would be highly recommended. For digital art and video encoding the Core M would not be an ideal choice.

The Surface Pro 3 does not come with a keyboard so purchasing one will probably add another $125 - $150. 4GB of RAM is generally adequate, but that depends what programs you will be using. It only has a 128GB SSD and it cannot be upgraded due to how the Surface Pro 3 is sealed together.

The Asus Zenbook UX303LA is probably the best choice if you do not care...

The Asus Zenbook UX303LA is probably the best choice if you do not care about the ability to use it in tablet form. It only comes with a 128GB SSD, but I believe it is upgradable.

Solution
Out of the 2, I would go with the asus with the i5 u cpu rather than the Y cpu as the y cpu is just for the basics. The sfp is good if you want the flexiibility of a tablet and pc.

A good alternative maybe the x1 carbon if that is within your price range.
