There's a button there. It's just flat with the rest of the drive body. If there are no buttons, then it's a model that does not have an optical drive, although that unit SHOULD have one. If you look very closely, and it has one, you will see the outline around the flat button. It won't stick out.

Well i got the same problem! and there is no outline of a button...
I got the same model Asus X553M and when i go look for a software that would open it there is non atlist on the computer!

Not all versions of the x553m have an optical drive. If there is no actual button to open the CD/DVD tray, I'm guessing that particular version doesn't come with an optical drive.
