Well, I had the Hyperx Cloud 2 but, after it having that static sound issue I returned it and got another which had the same issue. So after seeing that it didn't really look like there was any other headsets in the Cloud 2 price range (Or not that I know of) I decided to up the budget to $200-$300aud.

The place where I want to buy the headset is http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=116_998&vk_sort=1

I was looking at the Sennheiser G4ME ZERO but I honestly have no idea. It must also include a mic.

The absolute best gaming headset or headset in general is the Astro A40s or A50s depending on your budget. They are compatible with every gaming device PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and more. They are probably the best value for your money are a trusted and reliable company. In competitive gaming they always use these. They also have their own independent mix-amp for the headset. This headset is nothing but the best!!

These are clear, crisp, and slap hard. I have them. They have a super clear mic also. Friends reaction to my new mic/headset after upgrading from a webcam mic "Dude what did you do to your mic? I swear if you farted my eardrums would vibrate". They also are very comfortable and stay cool.

Watch out for buying music/ported headphones for gaming. While they do sound nice and all the boomy bass messes with the directional sound somewhat. For gaming you want clear tight bass.

Hmm, they look good. But they're not at the place where I want to buy a headset from.

Just look for sennheiser hd 350 se wherever you would buy them from. Don't confuse them with the sennheiser hd 363. That has virtual surround (ok), hot earcups, and not as good specs.

Which? Links?

Hmmm, would it make a big affect if I brought studio headset?

As much as I hate doing so, I unselected myself. :p Anyways do consider those sennheiser HD 350 se. High ohm's for high quality, 50mm drives for full sound, sealed for tight clean sound, and superb overall quality with a fantastic mic.

If it is ported it opens itself up for the more boomy bass. Those real low tones have no directional sound. You would have to try them for yourself, but you can't go wrong sealed for gaming.

You can do that if you want, but if you get ported headphone you will hear the boom in explosions that might muffle the directional snapping.

The audio technica m50 seems to be very good. The others seem to have some bad reveiws as IamSoda pointed out.

Hmm, do you know any suggestions that wouldn't be a port?

http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATH-M50-Professional-Monitor-Headphones/dp/B000ULAP4U That looks like a super choice 4.7 stars out of 5 with almost 5k reviews. They are also closed so they should be good for gaming.

EDIT: BTW they aren't a metal band so be careful with them if you do buy. The one's I put in have a steel band.
