So, My laptop was having an issue that when I tried to restart it, it would just shut down, and I thought it was an out-dated bios, so I went ahead and got a bios from the samsung website, flashed, and tried to restart with no luck.
I first get the splash screen with the options to enter setup or recovery. a) I let it be, splash screen disappears, computer shuts down. b) I try to enter recovery and the computer shuts down. c) I can get to bios, tried changing the boot priority, tried booting from ODD, from usb drive, HDD, same result. I tried tearing the computer apart to disconnect the CMOS battery, tried removing each of the two individual rams.
I can only think there´s a problem with: motherboard, processor, or bios.
Any suggestion on how I can get this problem dealt with?

Computer: Samsung NP-QX411-W01US

battery definitely not working, other than what I wrote, was working perfectly.

Thanks!

I didn´t pay much attention when posting that link, but it did cross my mind. My money is on "I downloaded the wrong bios" or "I downloaded a corrupted bios", but I don´t want to discard the other options.

Can get the proper BIOS (for sure) and try flashing again, since you can get into the BIOS you should be able to do this, have run into this with even regular desktop mobos people often get say a Ver 3 mobo and flash with a Ver 2 mobo BIOS

That sounds very logical, but I can´t boot from a flash drive either.
