The problem began almost a month ago, but I ignored it for a while since I was busy and barely had time to use my laptop anyway. Basically, the screen keeps going dark-blue, not black, and neither does it turn off (which means that the computer does not go into sleep) and it is easily recovered by pressing any key on the keyboard or simply moving the mouse around. However, it has become a problem as it keeps happening if I'm not interacting with my laptop, which is extremely annoying while watching videos. If I'm simply watching a video with a stretch of 15 minutes, it's a pain to keep moving the cursor around every few seconds. I tried to calculate the time it takes for the screen to go blue. It usually takes about 57 seconds to about 62 seconds (I calculated this by playing a video on youtube and then letting the laptop sit idle). I would really like some help regarding this! I searched on google but couldn't find relevant answers. If it really matters, I'll post a screenshot of my battery usage settings.

My laptop didn't come with a complete set of drivers, I had to manually download my display driver if it's relevant, but I got it from intel's website (I'm using an i3). Just in case it's relevant. I'm ready to provide more information if it's needed.

Thanks for reading, cheers.

Thanks for replying, but that's not the case here. Firstly, it has been set to 5 minutes. Other than that, it wouldn't apply to a case where a video/movie is already being played, would it? I hadn't touched the power settings ever since I have had this laptop, and this problem only began a month ago. More help would be appreciated :)
