My Dell Laptop Screen Flickers When On Battery

I got a 9 cell battery recently which seems to have messed up my PC.

When I inserted the battery and charge to 100%, I removed it to see how long it is going to last on battery, the laptop worked fine for some minutes but had the screen flickering after a while.

I turned off the PC and ran on battery again, the issue repeated itself, I thought it could be an issue with the drivers - so I updated all my drivers mostly battery and graphics related ones without success.

Now I figured the issue can't be with the drivers because the screen flickers when left on bios windows or even when the PC is cold-booting - The worst of it all is that the laptop now behaves this way when I insert the old battery which wasn't the case when I was troubleshooting the issue initially.

Now I'm lost because new battery might not be the solution. How can possibly resolve this issue? Any positive suggestions?

I will try your recommendation sir but can I use a tiny painting (or tooth) brush in place of an eraser?

______________

That or a foam swab along with rubbing alcohol, erasers can leave residue, also things like Q-tips often leave fibers

Here's where I am at the moment sir,

After cleaning the contact heads, double checking all the pins and all other options without success I decided to reduce the laptop screen brightness to the very minimum when on battery.

The flickering stopped but will resume once I increase the brightness even halfway.
This is just like a nightmare because I can't just come up with any other possible option to put this flickering to a stop

you can try this

Open Screen Resolution by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, and then, under Appearance and Personalization, clicking Adjust screen resolution.

Click Advanced settings.

Click the Monitor tab, and then, under Screen refresh rate, click the screen refresh rate you want. The monitor will take a moment to adjust. If you want to keep the changes, click Apply. If you don't apply the changes within 15 seconds, the refresh rate will revert back to your original setting.

It happens when in bios window - do you think I should still go ahead with this?

As represented in the video sir, it does stop once the power cable is connected.
The laptop runs fine on power cable without batteries and was doing fine prior to buying this battery - is there anything I can do to troubleshoot the mobo option?
