Hey, I'm trying to help my dad set up the home theatre system in our tv room. He's been ordering these HDMI to component gadgets and stuff. I tried explaining that the HDMI and component ports are inputs rather than outputs. Though I still tried to use those. Those aren't working. Now, I did notice a Coaxial out port behind our tv. I know we need that. So, I've been trying to find a cord that goes from Coaxial Out to digital component. I'm just asking if you guys had any suggestions.

I was thinking more of cords, but I do believe that would help. We do have optical cords and I still need a proper coaxial cable.

Thanks! :D

You need to connect the HTiB in two ways, one for playback of the DVD and the other for surround sound for all the sources connected to the TV.
For DVD playback you will need to connect the video out of the HTiB to the TV. Your options are Svideo or composite video (yellow RCA cable).
For audio from the TV if you have an RCA coax digital audio out you will need to convert it to optical digital audio for the HTiB. If you have optical audio out you need an optical cable.
If you have analog (2 RCA jacks) audio out you can connect with a standard stereo RCA cable.
