Hooked up computer to HDTV using HDMI and got sparks. Now TV won't power down and computer no longer has any display.

HDMI cable has been changed out. Port bad on TV. No video from computer on any other device. Spark came from the back of the TV.

Nothing to do here except replace the video card on the computer if you tried other outputs if you have them. If it's onboard video, would need a new motherboard. It's clear that whatever surge went through the cable damaged the computer.
