Hello

I need to buy my Daughter a laptop for her GCSE Graphics among other subjects. I don't have much money so I chose 2 on Ebay but don't know which is better for her, can you help?

The laptops are:
Toshiba satellite C855 1RM Core 13 6GB Windows 8 and Office13
Dell Latitude 131L Dual core 6GB Windows 8.1 Office Media

Google is vague on what this "GCSE Graphics" is, but it seems it is some kind of painting program. In that case, you want laptop with large (14" and more), hi-def screen (1080p). I am not going to search eBay for your references, but it seems that these are 13" units.

If she is going to do any serious home work, an external HD monitor (22" and above), as well as good mouse and keyboard, are must. This will add probably $150.

Lets your daughter check with her school - probably they have some guidelines about what is required.
