I don't have a dedicated sound card, so I am wondering should I get the HyperX Could I or II? The motherboard that I am using is the Asus Z87 Pro.

I have the HyperX headset that came out last year, before they had the cloud versions. The newer ones look almost exactly the same as the one I have.

I have been very happy with mine. No parts have fallen off, broke, or died, and in a week it will be a full year that I have had it. I love the way they sound, and people on the other end tell me I sound very good to them when I talk.

So assuming that they are using the same basic parts in their new cloud headphones as I have in mine, I think most people would be happy with these.

Glad to hear it! I can't say the same for my G930. The feature that attracted me the most to the HyperX Cloud is its build quality, but how do you like the mic portion of your headset? Has anyone been complaining about its sensitivity to background noises?
