She likes to play Everquest with her brother. HHGregg has this one for sale: HP Desktop PC with 4th Generation Intel® Core™ i3-4130 Processor. Will it work well for her game as is, out of the box? Thanks

That laptop should play it well. Intel hd 4000 series graphics will easily satisfy for casual gaming. Whats your budget?

Thanks for the quick reply.
It's actually desktop. It has a 1TB hard drive, 8GB DDR3 system memory, Intel® HD Graphics 4000 and 4th Generation Intel® Core™ i3-4130 Processor; it cost $540+tax.
Is EverQuest considered casual gaming and would this PC be able to handle the system requirements for it? I don't know much about gaming, but wanted to surprise her with the right computer for it.

I did some searching and found a few desktops that are much more powerful then the one you mentioned. The more expensive of the two has an i5 opposed to amds fx6300. The i5 is faster than the fx6300, however, not by much. Both machines are much more powerful than the one you listed and I'm sure either one will meet and exceed your needs. Personally, I would go with the amd model because it is cheaper and comes with 4 more gigs of ram.
