Hey, I’m looking for a new laptop that I can use for homework, casual/light gaming and youtube

1. What is your budget?
No higher than £500 but im trying to keep it under or about £450

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
15.6" or below

3. What screen resolution do you want?
Just something that doesn't look too bad in games

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
Portable, already have a good gaming desktop.

5. How much battery life do you need?
only about 5-6 hours, will be able to charge it.

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
The few games I want to play are:
Hearthstone
World of Warcraft (low) Just daily's and stuff not raiding
Csgo (low) Not essential
I think they are the most powerful games i will want to play

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
Browsing the internet, Youtube, Casual gaming, Homework, Writing a website.

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
500 GB minimum

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.
I've been looking at PCWorld, But not that bothered.

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?
I was hoping to keep it for around 4 to 5 years.

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
Don't need any of that, already have a external if needed

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.
As I don't have much experience in laptops I'm open to anything.

13. What country do you live in?
United Kingdom

14. Please tell us any additional information if needed.
I was hoping for 6-8GB of ram and quad core processor, But again open to everything
Also would like it if it wasn't too chunky

The laptop I have been looking at
TOSHIBA Satellite L50D-B-147 15.6” Laptop - Black

Any suggestions would be great :)
any other questions im happy to awenser as well :)

Thanks for your time.

The laptop is an ok laptop and should be ok but it is not the best laptop for gaming. However this doesn't mean that it can't play the games, but you will have to play the games at low settings as the gpu is not very powerful.

You could try this laptop without an os if you have a windows cd: http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/notebooks/cosmosII/

If not it adds £79 which is a bit over you budget.
